Threatened pan-African rugby team, the African Leopards, are still facing an uncertain future as the search for a new team sponsor continues.

Proposals have been submitted to six major companies trading in Africa, and the struggle to keep the team alive continues.

The African Leopards played in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and the team has received invitations to play in Australia, Asia and Europe.

A meeting is planned with Bernard Lapasset, Chairman of the IRB.
