Uganda’s 22-20 victory over Kenya in Nairobi last weekend has seen the Cranes jump eight places on the latest IRB rankings . Uganda’s move from 58 th to 50 th position confirms the improvement the East African nation has made recently. Their rise was as a result of their recent win over the Ivory Coast in a Rugby World Cup Qualifier and the two results (7-7 and 22-20) over their neigbours. Kenya dropped from 37 to 43. Madagascar and Zimbabwe have both moved down a position after their 22-all draw in the Africa Cup match in Bulawayo.
